The example presented here, produced around 1970, features the highly sought-after Mark IV dial configuration, identifiable by the distinctive shape of the “Submariner” lettering and the characteristic “6” numerals that are still open. It also retains a bezel insert that, with the natural passage of time, has taken on the coveted “ghost” hue, evidence of authentic and uniform aging.
